PCMS was proud to support discharge operations aboard the Magellan Eternity, a bulk salt carrier servicing the Northeast. Although the vessel arrived in May after the winter season had ended, salt discharge operations are still actively underway to help replenish regional stockpiles and support ongoing supply demands.
Our team assisted with lightening approximately 12,500 tons of salt cargo in Boston before the vessel continued north for the remainder of its discharge in Portland. Projects like this highlight the coordination, safety focus, and marine logistics expertise required to keep critical winter materials moving efficiently throughout New England ports.
