Pepperrell Cove Marine Services (PCMS) was selected to offload the Centurius, a cargo vessel sailing under the Marshall Islands flag, as it arrived at Portsmouth Port from Hamburg, Germany. The ship carries a massive copper load expected to fill more than 200 trucks once offloaded, trucking logistics that PCMS will also manage from port to destination.
The Centurius is part of a growing wave of international vessels rushing to reach U.S. ports before a new 50% tariff on copper imports goes into effect on August 1, 2025.
